'Nettle à la poupée' is an aquatint etching coulored by a technique called à la poupée. Different colors of ink are brought on the same plate and printed in one print run. 'Nettle à la poupée' is printed in a circulation of 10. It is a traditional aquatint etching of a blooming nettle. The etching is made on a zinc plate which gives the lines a organic structure than copper.
